EMBROIDERY
101
Hey! Let’s dive into the embroidery process and see how we bring your designs to life with thread. Here’s a quick rundown of the steps we take:
STEP 1
DESIGN PREPARATION:
- Setting Up: We prepare the design file specifically for DTF printing, making sure all the details are accurate.
STEP 2
SELECTING MATERIALS
- Choosing Threads: We pick the thread colors that match your design perfectly. We have a wide range of colors and types to ensure vibrant and accurate results.
Choosing Fabric: We also consider the type of fabric you'll be using, as different fabrics might need different types of backing or stabilization.
STEP 3
PREPARING THE GARMET
- Hooping the Fabric: We place the garment or fabric into an embroidery hoop, which keeps the fabric taut and stable during stitching.
Adding Backing: A piece of stabilizer or backing is placed behind the fabric to prevent it from stretching or shifting during the embroidery process.
STEP 4
SETTING UP THE MACHINE
- Loading the Design: We load the digitized design file into the embroidery machine.
Threading the Machine: The machine is threaded with the selected colors, ready to start stitching.
STEP 5
EMBROIDERING
- Starting the Machine: Once everything is set, we start the embroidery machine. It stitches the design onto the fabric, following the digital file’s instructions.
Monitoring the Process: We keep an eye on the machine to ensure everything runs smoothly and fix any issues that arise, like thread breaks.
STEP 6
DISASSEMBLY
- Trimming Threads: After the embroidery is done, we carefully trim any excess threads.
Removing the Hoop: The fabric is taken out of the hoop, and any remaining backing is trimmed or removed.
STEP 7
QUALITY CHECK
- Inspecting the Embroidery: We inspect the finished embroidery for quality, checking for thread breaks, missed stitches, and ensuring the design looks just right.
Touch-ups: If needed, we do any touch-ups to make sure the embroidery is perfect.
STEP 8
FINISHING TOUCHES
- Pressing and Folding: We might give the garment a light press to remove any hoop marks and make it look crisp.
Final Packaging: Finally, we fold and package your beautifully embroidered items, getting them ready for delivery.
And that’s it! Now you know how we turn your designs into stunning embroidered pieces. If you have any questions or want to get started on your own project, just let us know!
